core: Flaxboard. 350Kg/m3 and 450Kg/m3
Thickness: 44mm and 54mm
Framing: 65mm whitewood framing all round 65mm extra hardwood to the top of all FD60s.
Lippings and facings as required
Suitable for heavy duty requirements in all FD30 and FD60 configurations.

HEAVY/SEVERE DUTY Specification
core: Solid laminated timber
Thickness: 44mm and 54mm
Framing Not applicable
Lippings and facings as required
For heavy/severe duty situations from non-fire up to FD60

SECURITY DOOR/HEAVY DUTY Specification
core: Birch ply
Thickness: 44mm and 54mm
Framing: Not applicable

A severe duty door where added security is required
INTUMESCENT STRIPS
Doors can be fitted with premium quality intumescent strips and smoke seals to provide FD3O, FD6O fire protection fully compliant with BS476 part 22. Bridgman IBC provide full customer support in this area and special fire rating assessment packages are available on request. Fully certified FD9O and FD12O doorsets can also be supplied (not available as doors only).
 
KICK PLATES & PUSH PLATES
For added durability Bridgman IBC provide a range or protective, easily cleaned plates to prevent damage to the door base and handle area. These can be recessed flush within the lippings or face fixed across the full face of the door.
 

OVERPANELS & MOULDINGS
For added durability Bridgman IBC supply doors with matching overpanels to meet your design requirements; we are also able to incorporate mouldings to The door face to add style to even budget installations.

 

MORTICING
Bridgman IBC can supply doors ready morticed for installation of a lock, subject to approval of your sample.

OTHER OPTIONS
Slots for letterplates and rebates for water bars (subject to sample approval) can also be provided for exterior doors.

QUICK SPECIFICATION GUIDE
 
Bridgman IBC will provide a competitive quotation for any project provided we have the following information:
 
  • Door sizes
  • Fire rating if required
  • Door core
  • Door facing
  • Kickplates, locks etc
  • Aperture dimensions and glazing details and whether glazing beads are to match the door facing
  • Glass type
  • Quantities

For a full doorset quotation, please also supply:

  • Frame material and drawings showing frame details
  • Finished wall thickness
  • Architrave detail

Note: At order stage we will require details concerning:

  • Door handing
  • Details for rebated door pairs or door/overpanels rebated at head
  • Fully dimensioned details for glass opening sizes and positions
  • For doorset orders please also supply floor clearances and layout drawings
